FAQ
How does Group Finder work?
A host posts an open tee-time listing with course, date, time, and player preferences. Golfers can request to join, and the host approves or declines each request.
Can members post private-club guest spots?
A member may post a listing only when the club permits the guest arrangement. Stymie does not guarantee access; the host and club remain responsible for confirming eligibility and fees.
What happens if someone cancels?
The host and players coordinate changes directly. Stymie does not currently collect deposits or process cancellation charges.
Do I need a handicap to use Group Finder?
No. You can enter your official GHIN handicap index or just your average score. Hosts see whichever you provide. The goal is transparency so everyone knows the skill level of their playing partners before tee time.
How are join requests handled?
The host reviews each request and decides whether to approve it. Players should confirm course rules, fees, and the final reservation directly with the host.
