DIY · open sourceAGPL-3.0A launch monitor you assemble yourself around a Raspberry Pi and an OPS243-A Doppler radar, which reads ball speed and club speed straight from physics. The project puts that base build at roughly $400 in parts and publishes every algorithm. Adding an optional TI IWR6843 radar — about $156 more — buys measured launch angle and an experimental club path. It works with no connection at the range: sessions queue on the Pi and sync later to its companion cloud, FlightWeb. There is no subscription, and the whole stack is AGPL-3.0.
Without the angle radar you still get ball speed, club speed, smash factor and estimated carry; spin is experimental. Listed as a DIY option at the project's invitation. Stymie has not tested it and holds no measured accuracy data for it, so it sits outside the specification tables and comparisons above — those cover commercially available units only.
